St. Louis Composting Wins Best in the Expo at the Eco Expo Held at the St. Louis Science Center - April 19, 2009

St. Louis Composting is proud to announce our display won Best in the Expo at the Eco Expo held at the St. Louis Science Center on April 18 and 19. The booth was a collaboration between SLC, the Missouri Department of Conservation and Shaw Nature Reserve. It featured a Rain Garden complete with plants, flower beds, a mulched path and a deck area. Our exhibit featured several of our products including Rain Garden Mix, Super Soil, Forest Fines Mulch, Gold Enhanced Mulch, Pine Nugget Mulch and Oak Bark Mulch.


Staff from all 3 collaborators interacted with about 20,000 visitors and invited them to walk through our garden. Children had fun decorating backyard drawings with rubber stamps depicting plants and animals as they listened to the sounds of crickets and other insects.
